Célébration 2026Montréal resident finds a winning ticket while tidying up!
Montréal, February 13, 2026 — Véronique Bélanger, a Montréal resident, won one of the Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC electric vehicles drawn during the Célébration 2026 Gala. Two weeks after the January 11 draws, she found two Célébration tickets while tidying up her drawers. She figured she might as well scan the tickets before throwing them out. Smart move, because one of them turned out to be a winner—of a new car!
Véronique’s spouse was in the attic when she realized she’d won. “I called him right away to double-check the ticket with me,” she said, all smiles at the Loto-Québec offices.
The winner opted for the $80,000 lump sum instead of the vehicle. She said she plans to use the cash for some special family projects.
The winning ticket was purchased at Jean Coutu pharmacy, located at 6525 Boulevard Monk in Montréal.
Another tidy windfall
Another winning Célébration 2026 ticket was recently found by a couple while cleaning house. Christine Chabot and François Huet found a ticket worth $1,000,000 in a stack of papers!
