Célébration 2026A $1,000,000 winning ticket hiding in a stack of papers!

Montréal, January 28, 2026 — Christine Chabot and François Huet, a couple from Lanaudière, won one of the five prizes of $1,000,000 drawn during the Celebration 2026 gala, which aired January 11, 2026, on TVA.

Highlights:

  • While cleaning up, Christine Chabot found a few Célébration 2026 tickets in a stack of papers. Before throwing them out, she checked them using the Loto-Québec app and, to her great surprise, she saw an amount of $1,000,000 appear on the screen!
  • Her son, equally surprised, even compared the winning numbers on the ticket with those on the website— and yes, it was a winning ticket! Surprised by the win, the whole family went to a retailer for a third and final check.
  • Chabot and Huet plan to invest the million they just won for their retirement.

The ticket was purchased at the IGA Extra grocery store on Boulevard Laurier in Terrebonne. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
