    Responsible gambling: Our priority

In 2012, we created the Corporate Office of the Vice-President for Responsible Gambling, Communications and Social Commitment to coordinate all of Loto-Québec’s responsible gambling activities and ensure that related best practices are applied.

Our responsible gambling programs are integrated in the Corporation’s daily activities and dedicated resources are provided to ensure continuing improvement.

We are committed to optimizing responsible gambling measures at every step of our development and commercialization activities.

  • Loto-Québec Les Vivats awards in recognition of eco-responsible events

    Les Vivats

Our involvement in the Les Vivats (in French only) competition allows us, on the one hand, to highlight the efforts made by event organizers who, thanks to their eco responsible practices, reduce the environmental impact of their events and increase social and economic benefits to the community.

That partnership goes hand in hand with efforts to limit the environmental effects of our own events and those of our partners, particularly those relating to the Rendez-vous Loto-Québec.

  • Espace Québécois de concertation sur les pratiques d’approvisionnement responsable (ECPAR)

    ECPAR

ECPAR (in French only) is an initiative to support organizations looking to develop sustainable procurement best practices. Loto-Québec is a partner in this group of private and public corporations, research centres and sustainable development consultants.

  • Amber Alerts

During AMBER emergency response alerts, consumer displays in our network of gaming terminals disseminate information provided by the police in order to locate a missing child.
