Grande VieThree Quebecers win $1,000 a day for life in just one month!
Montréal, October 1, 2025 — Quebecers continue to pocket major prizes in the lottery: three grand prizes of $1,000 a day for life were awarded here with Grande Vie in September! The new lucky winners are Sylvain Leclerc from Montréal and Martin Gauthier from Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Daniel Gosselin from Côte-Nord also received his grand prize earlier this month.
Outaouais resident Jacqueline Laroche, for her part, won $25,000 a year for life in the same lottery game.
An all-terrain vehicle for Martin Gauthier
- Martin Gauthier decided to buy a Grande Vie ticket for the September 11 draw while running an errand at Boni-Soir, also known as Dépanneur Chez Steph, in Normétal.
- He asked the clerk to print the results so he could check his ticket. He immediately recognized the numbers he’d played.
- The thirty-something plans to use his grand prize of $1,000 a day for life to treat himself to an all-terrain vehicle.
- The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $70,000 (based on the lump-sum prize).
A trip to the Caribbean for Sylvain Leclerc
- Sylvain Leclerc discovered he’d won $1,000 a day for life in the August 28 Grande Vie draw while checking his ticket on the Loto-Québec app. He called his spouse, but not before shedding a few tears of joy.
- With this lifetime annuity, he plans to buy a house and fulfil a project dear to his heart: attending a relative's wedding in the Caribbean.
- The winning ticket was purchased at the Jean Coutu pharmacy on Rue Victoria in Lachine. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $70,000 (based on the lump-sum prize).
A home for Jacqueline Laroche
- Jacqueline Laroche found out she had a winning ticket well over a week after the September 8 Grande Vie draw when she had it checked at a store. The retailer handed her the validation slip, which showed she’d won $25,000 a year for life.
- “I’d already won small amounts, but nothing compared to this!” she shared. With her new fortune, the Outaouais resident plans to fulfil her dream of buying a house.
- The winning ticket was purchased at the Mega Dollar store at 228 Rue Principale in Mansfield-et-Pontefract.
In September of last year, a $50,000,000 Lotto Max jackpot and a $46,000,000 Lotto 6/49 jackpot were also won in Quebec.
