$1,000 a week for lifeA young man wins a grand prize after a bike outing

Montréal, March 10, 2025 — The Gagnant à vie lottery game continues spreading joy! This time, David Morin, a man in his thirties from the Capitale-Nationale region, won the coveted annuity of $1,000 a week for life.

Highlights

  • David Morin was on his way to go fat biking and stopped at a convenience store to buy a snack. While there, he decided to get a Gagnant à vie ticket.
  • Back home, he scratched his ticket and was surprised to uncover three VIE symbols in the same game. Wanting to make sure that he was truly winning $1,000 a week for life, he checked his ticket using the Loto-Québec app. It was true!
  • With his windfall, Morin can continue building his own house without financial concerns.

The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Éclair, at 1755 Boulevard Pie-XI Nord in Quebec City. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
