Lotteryaire couple in the Témiscamingue RCM Lottery

Lotteryaire couple in the Témiscamingue RCM Lottery

Montréal, February 13, 2025 — Abitibi-Témiscamingue residents Anita Presseault and Richard Gionet won one of the five at-home prizes of $1,000,000 in the draws held during the Célébration 2025 gala that aired January 12 on TVA. The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop 102 convenience store on Chemin Kipawa in Témiscaming.

Highlights

  • Presseault was checking lottery tickets using the Loto-Québec app with her stepson. As she was about to check her winning Célébration 2025 ticket, he asked her, “If you win a million, will it show up on the screen?"
  • At that very moment, she saw the $1,000,000 prize appear on her phone screen. Presseault started screaming for joy!
  • She immediately called her spouse, Richard Gionet, to inform him of the tidy sum they’d just won. As his phone was on speaker, his colleagues learned the great news at the same time!
  • Emotional, the millionaire couple plans to use this windfall to prepare for retirement.

Another resident of the region, Éric Goulet-Ménard, also won $1,000,000 with a ticket purchased on Chemin Kipawa at Dandy's convenience store—just three kilometres from the Stop 102 convenience store. The young man won the Extra top prize last November.
