He checked his ticket using the Lotteries app the day after the draw and was stunned to see the screen displaying $1,000,000! The lucky winner plans to use his windfall to pay off his mortgage and invest in real estate.

Third time’s a charm

Three winners were crowned in three consecutive days at the beginning of March. While Balogh took home the March 8 top prize, Lanaudière resident Christian Vansterthem won the March 7 prize. And a group that held 10 shares of $100,000 took home the March 6 prize. One of these shares remains unclaimed. The winning Formule groupe ticket had been purchased at a Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles retailer.
