Montréal, July 23, 2026 — Salaberry-de-Valleyfield resident Monique Lussier took home a $1,000,000 Roue de fortune grand prize. She spun the wheel during a special event at the Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, on July 11.
Lussier purchased her winning Roue de fortune ticket at a Metro grocery store in her town.
The sixty-something has several plans for her million, including purchasing a car and exploring Canada’s most beautiful landscapes.
A second winner in the Suroît area
Another Salaberry-de-Valleyfield resident also spun the wheel during the same event. Sylvain Litalien won $30,000, part of which he plans to use to travel to Italy with a friend. He had purchased his ticket at the Boni-Soir convenience store on Avenue de Grande-Île in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.
