Montréal, January 19, 2026 — A second big prize was awarded during the La Poule aux œufs d’or show within a few weeks! Serge Gingras from Québec City won the $150,000 top prize during the January 18 show, whereas Denise Daoust from Vaudreuil-Dorion took home the top prize on December 28, just before the holiday break.

Highlights

• Serge Gingras has been playing La Poule aux œufs d'or with his sister for several years. Gingras was checking the winning numbers on the Loto-Québec website when he noticed that one of the winning combinations for a contestant spot on the TV show looked a lot like his.
• During the show, she chose egg number 22—which contained the $150,000 top prize! The $13,500 he’d won earlier in the show topped it up for a total of $163,500.
• Gingras plans to change his car and do some renovations.
