Montréal, February 3, 2026 — Montréal couple Katelyn Abbey and Philip Cutler won the $5,000,000 at-home top prize drawn during the Célébration 2026 gala, which aired January 11.
Highlights
- Katelyn Abbey and Philip Cutler have been buying Célébration tickets for about five years. They give some as gifts to their family and always keep two for themselves.
- A few days after the gala aired, while he and his spouse were on vacation abroad, Cutler decided to check their tickets. When he checked the results on the Loto-Québec website, he discovered that one of them had the winning number for the $5,000,000 top prize. He was thrilled and wasted no time in sharing the good news with his spouse.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Uniprix pharmacy at 88 Rue Sainte-Anne in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $50,000.
