Lottery$1,000,000 won in Laval!
Montréal, February 3, 2026 — Laval lottery players are on a lucky streak: in just a few weeks, several have won major lottery prizes. Among them, a $1,000,000 top prize was won with the new Ultra scratch ticket, launched in January.
Lucky Laval winners:
- Domenico Cavalluzzi won $1,000,000 with the Ultra ticket he bought while grocery shopping. When he saw the amount he’d won, he said, “A million? That can’t be right!” Cavalluzzi’s winning ticket was purchased at the IGA Extra grocery store on Boulevard Curé-Labelle in Sainte-Rose. The retailer will receive a $10,000 commission.
- Sunaith Thurairajah, a young man in his thirties, won one of the prizes in the Célébration 2026 scratch ticket: a Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 worth $80,000. The lucky winner plans to fully enjoy it. The winning ticket was purchased at the Sprint convenience store on Boulevard Sainte-Rose in Fabreville.
- Ellen Morin Kingsbury won $75,000 with the Multiplicateur des fêtes lottery thanks to a ticket she bought for her birthday. The winning ticket was purchased at the Montfort convenience store on Rue Saint-Louis in the Pont-Viau district.
- In addition, eight Laval residents won the $5,000,000 Lotto 6/49 jackpot in December.
