$1,000,000 with Lotto 6/49Looking for one of the group’s winners
Montréal, April 2, 2026 — Several lucky winners in the Chaudière-Appalaches region split a $1,000,000 prize won in the February 21 Lotto 6/49 draw. They had purchased 10 group-play shares with Formule groupe, each worth $100,000. One share remains unclaimed. The winning ticket was purchased in the Montmagny RCM.
Highlights on some of our winners
- Annette Gagnon did not expect to win an amount such as this one. The Formule groupe lottery ticket regular wasn’t even sure of the amount she’d won and asked her spouse, “Is it $10,000 or $100,000?” So he checked the ticket as well and confirmed it was $100,000!
- Gaby Therrien is one of the lucky winners, having purchased a share of the winning ticket. She found out she’d won a prize while at the retailer outlet and was so stunned she couldn’t move!
- Ginette Guy asked her spouse to check her Lotto 6/49 ticket numbers on the Loto-Québec gaming website. He screamed when he saw the results, so Guy knew she’d won a prize.
- Jeannette Boutin learned the wonderful news the day after the draw. She told her loved ones right away.
- Lise Simoneau Guillemette learned the news from Jeannine Poirier Blais, who was helping her to clean her house. Poirier Blais told her she’d won a share of the million, and since Simoneau Guillemette had purchased her share in the same group, she hurried to check her ticket. They were both thrilled as they celebrated their win together!
- Lyne Clavet could hardly believe she’d won. She had two retailers validate her ticket to make sure it was true. She was surprised and happy when she realized she’d indeed won $100,000.
- Richard Dubé, another lucky winner from this group, just exhaled, “whew!” when he saw the amount he’d won!
