Québec MaxShe officially became a millionaire on her birthday!

Montréal, April 28, 2026 — Lise Bilodeau, who resides in Montérégie, has had good reason to celebrate lately. Not only did she win $1,000,000 in the Québec Max draw, but her dream of getting her prize on her birthday came true!

Utter bliss

  • Lise usually checks her lottery tickets in the morning while enjoying her coffee.
  • When she checked her ticket the day after the April 14 Québec Max draw, she initially thought she’d won $1,000, then saw there were too many zeros for that to be the case. When she looked more closely at the draw results, she realized she had the winning numbers and had actually snagged $1,000,000!
  • She wasted no time in calling her spouse to break the big news. “It’s true, we won a million dollars!” she told him. “It’s utter bliss!” she shared with us.
  • The winner had mentioned that receiving her prize on her birthday would be great, so the Loto-Québec team made it happen. They even had a few surprises waiting for her when she came by. “I didn’t expect there to be party balloons!” she shared, visibly moved.
  • With her windfall, Lise plans to move and buy her dream car.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Couche-Tard convenience store at 7721 Boulevard Taschereau in Brossard. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
