Lotto 6/49She wins $1,000,000 and surprises her sons
Montréal, September 25, 2025 — Montérégie resident Lucette Perron was overcome with emotion upon discovering her $1,000,000 win in the September 3 Lotto 6/49 draw. Her sons also experienced their share of excitement the morning they learned the news!
Highlights
- Lucette Perron checked her ticket the morning after the draw on the Loto-Québec app.
- When she saw the screen displaying $1,000,000, she quickly woke up one of her sons by opening the curtains in his room.
- Since he was half asleep, it took him a moment to grasp what was happening. Then, he shed a few happy tears.
- Afterwards, Perron called her second son to tell him the news. Initially skeptical, he asked her for proof that she’d won. After checking the ticket himself, he had no more doubts!
- With her new fortune, the winner plans on enjoying life “24/7,” as she humorously put it.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Tabagie des Halles convenience store at 145 Boulevard Saint-Joseph in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
