“I wasn’t expecting that this morning!”Lanaudière resident wins $ 1,000,000 with Lotto 6/49
Montréal, October 10, 2025 — Lanaudière resident Maria Vaccaro won $1,000,000 in the September 24 Lotto 6/49 draw. “I wasn’t expecting that this morning!” she exclaimed upon seeing her win on the Loto-Québec app just before heading to work. Thrilled with her good fortune, she decided to take the day off and go directly to our offices.
The mother of two, who has only been playing the lottery for a year, plans to buy a house, make investments and treat her family to a trip.
The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Filgo at 1175 Route 125 in Sainte-Julienne. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
