Montréal, March 10, 2025 — Montréal resident Chantal Bolduc won the $1,000,000 top prize in the February 5 Extra draw. After validating her ticket, the clerk at the Pasquier grocery store in Delson told her she’d won the top prize.

Highlights

• Chantal Bolduc always shops at the same grocery store in Delson. She took advantage of one of her visits to the retailer to have a few lottery tickets validated, including a Lotto 6/49 ticket with Extra.
• When validating this ticket, she heard a peculiar sound. “The clerk asked me if I knew. So I answered, “Did I know what?’ And then, he said, ‘You won $1,000,000 with Extra!’” Bolduc told us. Her first reaction was to hug the clerk!
• “I felt like I was in a dream!” she said when claiming her prize.

The Pasquier grocery store in Delson, where the winning ticket was purchased, will receive a 10% commission of $10,000.

In Montérégie, it’s always yes to Extra!

Chantal Bolduc is not the only one to have won big with Extra in recent weeks. Carole Chagnon also won $1,000,000 with a ticket purchased at the Couche-Tard convenience store on Rue de l’Aqueduc in Varennes.
