Montréal, June 17, 2025 – Paul Emile Leboeuf of Cowansville took home the $1,000,000 top prize after spinning the wheel on the Roue de fortune game show at the Festival Western de St-Tite. The segment featuring this new millionaire aired on June 16 on TVA.
Highlights
- After a restaurant breakfast with friends, Paul Emile Leboeuf stopped at a nearby convenience store to pick up a Roue de fortune éclair ticket. Much to his surprise, the ball landed on the wedge entitling him to a contestant spot on the game show. “I couldn’t believe it!” he said.
- When his son-in-law popped in to the same store a few minutes later, he learned that a customer had just won a spot on the show. He immediately shared the news with his wife, who texted her father, knowing he was a fan of the lottery game. Paul Emile had the pleasure of telling his daughter that the winning customer was him!
- Paul Emile plans to use his winnings to pursue his two passions: travel and sport. Morocco is one destination he’d like to visit.
