“We won?”A Laval couple become millionaires thanks to Célébration 2025

Montréal, January 28, 2025 — Laval residents Nathalie Bégin and Donald Lebel won one of the five at-home prizes of $1,000,000 in the draws held during the Celebration 2025 gala that aired January 12 on TVA. The couple received their cheque from Sébastien Benoit, one of the gala hosts, during a joyful event at the Loto-Québec office.

Highlights

  • Two days after the gala, Donald Lebel decided to scratch the couple’s Celebration 2025 ticket. “We might be millionaires!” he said to himself.
  • Seeing the expression on her spouse's face, Nathalie Bégin asked him, “We won?” He nodded. “A lot?” she added. That’s when Lebel told her they’d won $1,000,000. Bégin started crying for joy.
  • The couple had begun shopping for a new house, and their project may come to fruition sooner than expected! They also plan to change their car.
