Lotto 6/49She won $1,000,000 with a ticket bought in Chicoutimi!

Montréal, January 17, 2025 – For Stéphanie Migneault of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, 2024 ended on a high note when she won $1,000,000 in the December 14 Lotto 6/49 draw. As a basketball fan, she plans to use some of her winnings to fulfill a lifelong dream of attending a Lakers game in Los Angeles.

Highlights

  • One Saturday afternoon, Stéphanie went to the convenience store to run an errand and was tempted to buy a Quick Pick for that evening’s Lotto 6/49 draw.
  • When she checked the winning numbers the next day, she thought they looked like hers. She asked her daughter and her husband to double-check, and they came to the same conclusion—Stéphanie had won a $1,000,000 prize!
  • In addition to travelling to Los Angeles, she plans to use the money for investments and some home renovations.

The winning ticket was purchased at Halte services Nutrinor on Boulevard Saint-Paul in the borough of Chicoutimi.
