Les rendez-vous Loto-QuébecSee you this winter
Montréal, January 15, 2025 – This winter, festival-goers will have plenty of opportunities to get out, get together, support local culture and enjoy the cold season thanks to Rendez-vous Loto-Québec! The corporation is pleased to support four major winter events in Montréal and Quebec City:
- Igloofest Montréal, from January 16 to February 8
- Quebec Winter Carnival, from February 7 to 16
- MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE, outdoor program, from February 27 to March 9
- Igloofest Quebec City, from March 6 to 8
“Loto-Québec is a major sponsor of events that bring people together across Québec, all year round. We’re pleased to support festivals and events that showcase Québec talent and share our values of social responsibility and inclusiveness,” said Benoit Lefrançois, Corporate Vice-President of Responsible Gambling, Communications and Social Responsibility at Loto-Québec.
There are a number of surprises in store for festival-goers who take part in Moments chanceux Loto-Québec, which are part of the winter events. Lots of prizes are up for grabs, including VIP tickets to the evening shows.
Unique events to celebrate winter
In both Montréal and Quebec City, Igloofest gets the crowds moving on the coldest dance floor in the world, but in an electrifying atmosphere. For the Montréal edition, tickets are available for the IGLOOVIP Casino de Montréal, a heated space with an unobstructed view of the stage!
The original and inimitable winter event, the Quebec Winter Carnival, is back with a host of activities. Visitors are invited to the Loto-Québec Zone to admire Bonhomme’s Ice Palace. The Loto-Québec Stage will be the prime gathering place for all six musical evenings.
During MONTRÉAL EN LUMIÈRE, Place Loto-Québec will host a number of outdoor activities, including the magnificent Loto-Québec Skating Loop, which promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles.
Active transportation, even in winter!
Thanks to Loto-Québec, for a second year BIXI is offering Montrealers the chance to get around by bike all year round. The corporation is proud to be a partner to reduce greenhouse gases, encourage active mobility and promote access to festivals year-round.
