La Poule aux œufs d’orA Vaudreuil-Dorion resident wins the top prize!

Montréal, December 29, 2025 – The year ends with a bang at La Poule aux œufs d’or! Denise Daoust, from Vaudreuil-Dorion, won the $225,000 top prize when she took part in the December 28 show. This is the fifth time the top prize has been won since the start of 2025!

Highlights

  • Denise Daoust's spouse bought two La Poule aux œufs d'or tickets at the convenience store.
  • While scratching them, Daoust discovered that one of them earned her a contestant spot on the show. “I went out to tell my neighbours!” she told us when she claimed her prize.
  • During the show, she chose egg number 11—which contained the top prize! The $6,500 she won in the jeu des portes topped it up for a total of $231,500.
  • Daoust dreamt of going on an Alaskan cruise with her spouse. Thanks to her windfall, the dream is sure to become a reality!
