Lotto MaxHe claimed a $1,000,000 prize on his birthday!

Montréal, September 19, 2024 — Montérégie resident Ollwin E. Browne will forever remember his 77th birthday! He celebrated it at the Loto-Québec office as he claimed the $1,000,000 prize he’d won in the May 17 Lotto Max draw.

Highlights

  • Browne usually buys tickets for several draws at a time. One such multi-draw ticket won him $1,000,000 with Lotto Max. He found out he’d won a million dollars three months earlier when validating his ticket after the last draws. He immediately returned home to announce the news to his loved ones. “I don’t know how I made it home!”
  • The Montérégie resident, who’s been retired for several years, plans to use his windfall to pay off his mortgage and renovate his house. He also plans to spoil his family and donate to a cause dear to his heart.

The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Général Rive-Sud at 5645 Boulevard Grande-Allée in Brossard.
