$1,000 a week for lifeThree new winners in the Greater Montréal area

Montréal, November 27, 2024 — The Gagnant à vie lottery game recently had several lucky winners going through the full spectrum of emotions! Three lifetime annuities of $1,000 a week for life were won: one by Montréal resident Catherine Boisbriand, a second one by Michael Mesonero-Brousseau from Laval and a third by Lanaudière resident Amélie Payette.

Champagne!
Boisbriand won $1,000 a week for life by scratching her online ticket on the Loto-Québec website. “The timing was perfect! I had a family dinner that evening, so I got some champagne. Decibels went up a few notches when I announced the news!” she said on the Loto-Québec camera. She plans to explore Europe and Asia.

Surprise at the convenience store
Mesonero-Brousseau found out he won the $1,000 a week for life annuity at the Voisin convenience store, where he purchased his ticket, at 4055 Boulevard Industriel in Laval. He was speechless when he checked the ticket, which turned out to be a winning one. He then called his mother, but she didn’t believe him at first. “I gave the phone to the store manager so he could confirm it to her!” For the thirty-year-old, this lucky strike is like a new beginning.

New car
“I’ve always wanted to win this lottery game so I could be financially secure,” said Payette, thrilled to receive the first payment of her lifetime annuity. The special-education teacher could hardly believe her ticket, which she had purchased at Garage Beaudoin Bélanger in L’Épiphanie, could earn her $1,000 a week for life. “I took a picture of the winning section of the ticket and couldn’t stop looking at it, zooming in on the icons!” Thanks to this very real prize, the mother of two plans to purchase a new car and travel to a sun destination.
