$1,000,000Montréal resident forgets her Lotto 6/49 ticket in her purse!

Montréal, May 30, 2024 — Georgia Groubos had quite the surprise on April 28 when she found a Lotto 6/49 ticket in her purse that she’d purchased two months earlier. When she had it checked, she saw she’d won $1,000,000 in the March 2 draw! “I was baffled when I saw the amount I’d won. It was like I was in a dream,” she said. Groubos plans to use her windfall to treat herself and care for her loved ones.

 

The winning ticket was purchased at the La Main urban grocery store, located at 3695 Boulevard Saint-Laurent in Montréal. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
