A $1,000,000 Lotto 6/49 prize won in Lanaudière“I was feeling lucky!”
Montréal, June 19, 2024 — Linda Henley, a Lanaudière resident, won the handsome sum of $1,000,000 in the Lotto 6/49 draw on May 18. Ms. Henley usually buys one ticket per draw. But on May 18, she was feeling particularly lucky and decided to buy a second ticket while grocery shopping. A few days later, much to her surprise, she found out she was now a millionaire. She wasted no time in sharing the exciting news with her spouse. This lucky winner plans to use her winnings to buy a new car and move to a house by the water.
The winning ticket was purchased at the IGA Extra on Chemin de Lavaltrie in Lavaltrie. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
