Loto-Québec brings thousands of Quebecers together with the Rendez-vous Loto-Québec

Montréal, June 11, 2024 — Loto-Québec is happy to launch the 2024 season of the Rendez-vous Loto-Québec, one of Québec’s largest sponsorship programs with over 50 events.

The Rendez-vous calendar includes events across all regions. It features some of the largest festivals in Montréal and Quebec City, such as the Francos or the Festival d’été, and other festivals of all sizes that bring communities together, such as the Festif! in Baie-Saint-Paul and the Festival Musique du Bout du Monde in Gaspé.

Les Rendez-vous Loto-Québec are a perfect opportunity to support communities, showcase our culture, encourage local artists and artisans and contribute to the success of festivals across Québec,” said Benoit Lefrançois, Corporate Vice-President of Responsible Commercialization, Social Responsibility and Public Affairs at Loto-Québec.

Shared values that bring us together

Loto-Québec is proud to partner with events that share its inclusion and social responsibility values. When selecting the events that will be part of the Rendez-vous lineup, it considers criteria related to social responsibility. It also supports organizers of the events it sponsors to help them reduce their environmental impact.

“Sponsorship is more than a significant visibility driver for Loto-Québec. It’s an opportunity to show that the State corporation shares Quebecers’ values and helps evolve the event industry’s social responsibility practices by acting as a change agent,” added Lefrançois.

Lucky breaks

Loto-Québec’s team has several surprises for festivalgoers thanks to lucky breaks. On different occasions during the summer, they could win passes for privileged access to a Loto-Québec box or to the front of the stage. Green lucky breaks, on-site at three of the events on the calendar, will highlight festivalgoers’ concern for the environment. Some environmentally friendly actions that could be rewarded include active transport, recycling, composting and using a reusable water bottle.
