Montréal, July 25, 2024 — Laval resident Karine Haimovici recently took home the Gagnant à vie scratch ticket’s top prize of $1,000 a week for life.

Highlights

• Haimovici received an assortment of scratch tickets as a Mother’s Day gift from her spouse. As it turns out, one of them got her a free ticket, and she won the coveted VIE prize.
• After finding out she’d won, she immediately called her husband from the next room to tell him the excellent news.
• The winner opted for the $1,000,000 lump-sum prize rather than the lifetime annuity. In addition to planning her retirement, the lucky winner plans to use the money to purchase a hybrid car and renovate her cottage.

The lucky ticket was purchased at the Metro grocery store in Val-David.
