Montréal, July 4, 2024 — Mauricie couple Daniel Demers and Nathalie Doucet won the $1,000,000 prize in the June 7 Extra draw. They plan to use their windfall to travel, especially in Greece and Italy.

Highlights

  • Demers purchases the lottery tickets for himself and his spouse, Nathalie. He always says yes to Extra.
  • Demers checked their ticket the day after the draw using the Lotteries app. He had to wait before sharing the good news with Doucet since she wasn’t home.
  • At first, she didn’t believe him!
  • The couple would like to travel more, particularly in Europe. They’re more specifically looking at Italy and Greece.
