A lucky end to the year for many Laurentides residents
- Just before the holidays, a family won the year’s largest jackpot in the region. Nancy Gauthier, Jeannette Boisvert and Gilles Larouche pocketed the Lotto Max $50,000,000 jackpot in the December 15 draw. The winning ticket had been purchased at the Couche-Tard at 508 Boulevard Saint-Anne in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines.
- That very same weekend, another Laurentides resident, Denise Drysdelle Cyr, won the Québec 49 $2,000,000 top prize in the December 16 draw. She had purchased her winning ticket on lotoquebec.com. The grandmother of seven plans to use her windfall to spoil her family.
- Laurentides resident Gelu Tugui had taken home the $1,000,000 top prize with Extra in November. The ticket won in the November 4 draw and had been purchased at Dépanneur Voisin de la Gare in Deux-Montagnes.
