$2,000,000A Montréal resident wins the Québec 49 grand prize

Montréal, February 28, 2024 — Montréal resident Dominador Games won the $2,000,000 top prize in the February 7 Québec 49 draw. Games plans to use this tidy sum to make investments and surprise his family who lives in the Philippines with a visit.

Highlights

  • Dominador purchased a Double Jeu 49 package while running some errands.
  • When he returned home, he put the ticket on the table with his other purchases and left for work.
  • Later in the evening, he looked at the Québec 49 results after the draw and had a feeling he’d seen some of these numbers before.
  • He wanted to check his ticket, but it wasn’t in his pocket as usual.
  • Luckily, upon returning home, he found it and checked it with the Lotteries app. It was his combination that had been drawn.
  • He quickly shared the news with his wife and son.
  • It’s Games’ second time winning the lottery: he’d been a contestant in Roue de fortune chez vous! in 2019.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Boni Soir convenience store at 6201 Boulevard Décarie in Montréal.
