$1,000,000A Laurentides resident sheds tears of joy after having her ticket validated in Saint-Sauveur

Montréal, December 27, 2024 — Laurentides resident Jeanne Stefanutti is the lucky winner of a $1,000,000 lottery top prize. A Québec Max ticket she purchased at the Super C on Chemin du Lac-Millette in Saint-Sauveur won her the prize. “I started to cry. Everyone in the store was happy for me,” Stefanutti confided as she recalled the moment she discovered she’d won.

  • After validating her winning ticket for the November 29 draw, she returned home to share the news with her son. ‘I'll be able to buy a house!” she told him.
  • The lucky winner carefully kept her winning ticket in her wallet before claiming her prize in December. She even made sure it was still there before going to sleep!
