Grande VieMontréal resident gets $1,000 a day for life!

Montréal, December 19, 2024 — With the holidays around the corner, the Grande Vie lottery game has made several people happy across Québec, including Pierre Nadeau from Montréal, who was surprised to discover that he’d won an annuity of $1,000 a day for life in the December 2 draw.

Nadeau had his lottery ticket validated during a visit to the pharmacy. When he saw the amount on the screen, he said to the attendant, “If I faint, revive me!” The lucky winner plans to invest and help some family members with his windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Uniprix Souad Khouri pharmacy in the Olympic Village in Montréal. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $70,000.
