• “It was a huge wow! Good thing I was sitting because I’d have fallen to the ground,” he said to the camera during Loto-Québec’s call, surrounded by his family.
• The retiree, who recently moved to the waterfront, plans to use his winnings to buy a new car and a larger pontoon than initially intended. He also plans to spoil his family, “It's perfect timing, just before Christmas. It’ll make for beautiful gifts for my children. They’ll be able to enjoy it as much as I will.”
