$1,600,000Laval resident celebrates where he purchased his ticket

Montréal, April 25, 2024 — “It’s official, I’m retiring!” That’s what Laval resident Guy Dufour said when he found out he’d won $1,600,000 in the April 3 Banco draw. The Banco with the Turbo option ticket he purchased at the Couche-Tard at 5795 Boulevard des Laurentides in Laval earned him this windfall. Dufour celebrated as he received his prize at the convenience store where he usually gets his lottery tickets. He discovered he was a millionaire at home during a power outage as he checked his ticket on the Loto-Québec Lotteries app.
