Montréal, August 27, 2024 – Anna Wlodarczyk of Abitibi-Témiscamingue won $1,000,000 in the Québec Max July 30 draw. The winner, who purchased her ticket at a convenience store in Val-d’Or, was excited to receive her prize in the company of family and friends at Loto-Québec’s headquarters. Now a millionaire, the education worker will fulfill her dream of exploring Jamaica and spoiling her family.

- When Anna went to the convenience store to buy her Lotto Max ticket, she said, “I’ll take one with Québec Max,” which was not something she usually did.
- The winner discovered she had won an additional prize of $1,000,000 with Québec Max during her summer vacation. “No, that didn’t happen?” she exclaimed.
- In the winners’ lounge, the millionaire said she hadn’t yet told her son the big news. She intended to do so by sending him the photo taken when she claimed her prize!

The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Du-Pro on 6e rue in Val-d’Or. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
