Lotto MaxGroup of 28 co-workers at a home improvement store in Sainte‑Adèle wins $1,000,000!

Montréal, June 15, 2023 — A group of 28 employees at Riopel Centre de Rénovation, located in Sainte-Adèle, took home $1,000,000 with Lotto Max at the April 25 draw. When he found out about the win, group leader Paul Carbonneau donned a suit and headed to his workplace to share the big news with his co-workers! Carbonneau formed the lottery group about three years ago. The winning ticket was purchased at the Metro grocery store in Sainte-Adèle.

In June, Loto-Québec visited the home improvement store to meet the winners, all of whom live in the Laurentides region, and to celebrate their win.

“It’s so nice to award a prize to a group of co-workers! By coming to Sainte-Adèle to celebrate this wonderful team’s good fortune, we were able to award them their $1-million prize in their home region,” said Isabelle Jean, Executive Vice-President and COO of Lottery Games at Loto-Québec.
