$2,000,000Quebec 49: An Estrie man leaves with a few dollars in his pocket and comes back with the grand prize
Montréal, May 18, 2021 — Once he realized that he’d gone to the convenience store with just a few dollars in his pocket, André De La Bruère was forced to choose between a Lotto Max and Double Jeu 49 ticket. The Estrie man chose the latter and ended up winning the $2,000,000 grand prize in the April 28 Québec 49 draw!
In summary
- Lottery game: Québec 49
- Prize: $2,000,000

Highlights
- André bought a Double Jeu 49 Package, which allowed him to play both Lotto 6/49 and Québec 6/49 on the same ticket. He then added on Extra. The ticket ended up costing him $5.
- When he went to check his ticket at a retailer after the draw, he thought he’d won $50.

- André says he wants to buy a new truck and used tractor with his winnings.
