Loto-Québec announces the reopening of the Salon de jeux de Trois-Rivières

Montréal, June 4, 2021 After getting the green light from public health authorities, Loto-Québec will be reopening the Salon de jeux de Trois-Rivières on June 14, while complying with public health and social distancing guidelines. The Corporation’s top priority is to make returning to work and resuming operations as safe and healthy as possible for all employees and customers.

The Company will be putting in place measures that are similar to those it did last summer, including:

  • Introducing special opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to midnight every day;
  • Making an online tool available to customers so they can book their visit; online booking system available to customers;
  • Limiting the indoor capacity to 250 people;
  • Ensuring that everything is fully disinfected and that machines are cleaned after every customer;
  • Requiring that employees wear a procedure mask in gaming areas and, where required as per the CNESST, protective eyewear;
  • Requiring that customers wear a face covering;
  • Putting up signage that tells customers which way to go and reminds them of social distancing rules;
  • Reconfiguring the gaming areas:
  • Giving customers a stylus pen with a rubber tip to prevent them from touching gaming machines;
  • Keeping the bar closed for now;
  • Providing limited food services only.

The Corporation is preparing to gradually reopen all its gaming establishments and will communicate the dates of these re-openings once the regions those locations are in move to yellow alert status.
