COVID-19Loto-Québec thanks its customers for their patience and understanding

We would like to thank our customers for all their patience and understanding ever since we suspended the physical sale of lottery tickets at retail outlets. For customers who are used to purchasing their lottery tickets from a retailer, the current situation marks a big change. They needed to move towards online purchases, creating a high volume of new account registrations on lotoquebec.com, as well as calls and emails to our customer service.

Rest assured that our staff has intensified its efforts to answer the thousands of customers who contact us. Nearly 100 employees are working from home to provide help to our customers from 7 am to midnight, 7 days a week, and more are currently being trained to add to the effort. What’s more, as of tonight, our customer service lines will be operating 24 hours a day.

"We'll continue our efforts to answer everyone over the next few days," said Lynne Roiter, President and CEO of Loto-Québec. "I'd like to personally thank and reassure our customers: wait times might be long, but a great number of employees are working fervently to advise you and keep to a minimum any inconvenience experienced due to the current situation. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank our employees for their dedication and hard work."

In closing, we invite everyone to be careful and take care of themselves and their loved ones. That’s what’s most important.
