Quotes from the President and CEO

“This excellent performance shows the strength of our organization and our ability to maintain our growth trajectory, while generating significant spin-offs for Québec,” says Jean-François Bergeron.

“It is essential that Loto-Québec strengthen its position in online gaming, including sports betting, to ensure greater oversight and that the profits generated benefit the people of Québec. We’re promoting a responsible approach, aiming to capture the market rather than stimulate its growth.”

“Our cornerstone real-estate projects—the addition of a hotel adjacent to the Casino de Montréal, new gaming halls in Rimouski and Saguenay, and the expansion of the Hôtel-Casino du Lac-Leamy conference centre—are part of our commitment to enhancing the experience we offer our customers and contributing to Québec’s economic and touristic vitality.”

  • In December, Loto-Québec announced the opening of a fourth gaming hall, which will be located in Saguenay, on the grounds of the Delta Hotels property and its conference centre.

  • Loto-Québec is moving forward with its strategy of focusing video lottery terminals in locations that promote socialization and uphold tightened quality standards (fewer doors, but better doors).

  • The fact that 81% of Québec online players choose lotoquebec.com is a sign that Loto-Québec’s online offering meets customer needs.
