“I think I won a million...”They take home $1,000,000 with a ticket purchased in Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard!

Montréal, November 20, 2025 — Laurentides couple Julie Gravel and Patrick Forget won the $1,000,000 prize in the November 7 Québec Max draw. After checking her ticket, Julie contacted the customer service team at Loto-Québec, “I think I won the lottery. I think I won a million...” she said to the employee who took her call. And he confirmed to her that she was right!

Highlights

  • Usually, Forget’s the one who buys lottery tickets for both of them. But he didn’t have the chance to do it for the November 7 draw. So, Gravel took advantage of a stop at the convenience store to buy a Double Jeu Max ticket.
  • Gravel checked her ticket on the Loto-Québec app the following Monday, just before leaving for work. She wasn’t expecting to see $1,000,000 displayed on her phone. She immediately sent a screenshot to Forget to share the news before contacting Loto-Québec.
  • The couple plan to use their windfall for travelling and investing.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Voisin — Robert Gauthier convenience store in Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
