Lotto 6/49A Montérégie couple wins $2,500,000 with a ticket purchased in Rigaud

Montréal, June 28, 2024 — Montérégie couple Kai-Uwe Hagen and Susan Robinson won $2,500,000 in the June 15 Lotto 6/49 draw. The chef and retired nurse plan to use their prize to go on a romantic getaway and renovate their house.

 

The winning ticket was purchased at the DÉP 325 convenience store on Chemin de la Montagne in Rigaud. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $25,000.

  • Hagen and Robinson won the $2.5 million with a Lotto 6/49 ticket with seven plays.
  • Hagen saw the draw results in a store and immediately noticed that their ticket’s first combination was a winning one.
  • Once he returned home, he first shared the news with his spouse by showing her the Loto-Québec prize claim form. She could hardly believe they’d won such a sum!
  • The winners, who get $1,250,000 each, received their prize at the Loto-Québec office in Montréal on June 21. They were still struggling to believe their luck.
