$1,000 a week for lifeA Centre‑du‑Québec resident wins big with Gagnant à vie!

Montréal, September 14, 2023 – Sylvain Germain, a Centre-du-Québec resident, took home an annuity of $1,000 a week for life thanks to a Gagnant à vie scratch ticket. The lucky winner, who chose the lump sum of $1,000,000 associated with this annuity, plans to invest his windfall.

Highlights

  • Germain has a soft spot for Gagnant à vie scratch tickets. “I like this lottery game because I often win runner-up prizes.”
  • When he saw the three VIE symbols, he checked his ticket on his phone using the Lotteries app. Ever the skeptic, Germain headed to a retail location, where his good fortune was confirmed. “I wanted to be totally sure before getting too excited!”

The lucky ticket was purchased at the Electricité d’auto Plessis garage on Rue Saint-Calixte in Plessisville. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
