“I got goosebumps all over!”A Mauricie resident wins $25,000 a year for life with Grande Vie

Montréal, November 10, 2023 – Mauricie resident Pierre Savard isn’t likely to forget the call he received on October 20 anytime soon. Loto-Québec was calling to tell him his Grande Vie ticket he’d purchased online had just won him $25,000 a year for life in the previous night’s draw.

  • Pierre Savard regularly purchases his lottery tickets online as it’s more practical.
  • The day after the draw, Savard saw a number he didn’t recognize on his caller ID. After some research, he realized the number belonged to Loto-Québec. He then decided to check his lotoquebec.com account.
  • At first, he thought he’d won $25. “I was wondering why Loto-Québec would call me for $25!”
  • He soon realized he had won $25,000 a year for life. “I got goosebumps all over!” he said as he claimed his prize.
  • Savard opted for the lump sum prize of $500,000. He plans to use his windfall to buy a new car, do some renovations and make investments.
