Début des moyens de pression des employés CSN dans les casinos du QuébecLes activités se déroulent normalement

Montréal, May 5, 2023 — Loto-Québec confirms that employees from several CSN-affiliated unions who work at its casinos and in the online gaming customer service team started applying more pressure today. The corporation is open to serious and constructive discussions to reach a fair, negotiated agreement regarding collective agreements that are up for renewal.

Casino operations to carry on as normal

The corporation wants to assure its customers that the casinos will remain open and that their operations will not be impacted by the current situation.

Better conditions

The parameters for negotiations with the unions concerned reflect what has been proposed to and agreed upon with other Loto-Québec casino employee groups, and include enhancements to working conditions. Because employees are at the heart of its activities, Loto-Québec is committed to offering them good working conditions; however, the corporation must also ensure that public funds are managed in a responsible manner.

Mutually satisfactory agreements were reached with seven unionized groups in 2022. Loto‑Québec is confident that an agreement with CSN-affiliated unions is also possible.
