$1,000,000 with Québec MaxThese Estrie residents are planning a trip to Disney World

Montréal, May 18, 2023 — Jeremy Beaudin and Cindy Robert won $1,000,000 in the April 28 Québec Max draw. The two Estrie residents say they plan to invest some of the money, buy a brand-new pickup truck, and take a family trip to Disney World!

Highlights

  • Beaudin was the one who first learned the good news when he went to check his winning ticket at the gas station.
  • The new millionaire was so surprised to see $1,000,000 appear on the display screen that he felt the need to sit in his car for a few minutes to absorb what had just happened. When he told the clerk, the latter replied: “OK, but you will come back inside to pay for your gas before you go, right?”
  • Back home, Beaudin smiled as he handed the validation slip to his spouse. Ms. Robert only noticed that they hadn’t won anything with Lotto Max. He told her to have another look, and that’s when she saw all the zeros on the slip and realized that they’d won Québec Max!
