Québec MaxA family group wins $1,000,000!
Montréal, February 16, 2023 — A family group, made up of six Chaudière‑Appalaches residents and two Montérégie residents, took home $1,000,000 in the January 17 Québec Max draw. It was group leader Marie-Paule Castonguay who had the honour of telling her family members the good news. The prize money will be split eight ways, with each member pocketing $125,000. As for what they’ll do with the money, the winners say they have different plans, including going on trips and making home renovations.

- Chantal Castonguay from Chaudière-Appalaches
- Marie-Paule Castonguay from Montérégie (group leader)

- Sylvie Castonguay from Montérégie
- Valérie Castonguay from Chaudière-Appalaches
The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Beau-Soir on Rue de l’Église Nord in Lacolle. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
