Montréal, February 21, 2023 — Sylvain Maltais was the lucky winner of $1,000,000 at the January 24 Québec Max draw. The Capitale-Nationale resident realized just how lucky he was when he saw the amount displayed on screen while having his ticket validated at a retail location. The lucky winner says he plans to invest the money.
The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Cap-à-l’Aigle, on Boulevard Malcolm-Fraser in La Malbaie. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
