Montréal, December 28, 2023 — Retired colleagues Sylvie Martin and Esther Pichette, who live in Mauricie, won a lottery jackpot together in December. They have played the same Lotto 6/49 numbers for several years but won $1,000,000 with Extra in the end. They’re thinking about using the $500,000 they each received just before the holidays to plan a trip to the American West.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Proxi convenience store next to Harnois on Rue Marion in Trois-Rivières. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
