$1,000,000A Bas-Saint-Laurent resident wins a Maxmillions prize

Montréal, September 23, 2022 — Bas-Saint-Laurent resident Martin Rioux is living every person’s dream: he won a Maxmillions prize in the September 13 Lotto Max draw! The winner, who plays Lotto Max from time to time, got the news when he went to check his ticket at the store where he bought it. Rioux then waited for his wife to finish her workday before telling her that he had a $1,000,000 winning ticket! The retiree says he’ll use his windfall to spoil his two kids and buy a car.

 

The winning ticket was purchased at Marché Desbiens et Fils on Rue du Couvent in Cacouna. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
